Rent to Own - List of Documents Required
The list below is to make you aware of all the documents required to execute our rent to own program in least amount of time. Just like any other real estate transection, you prove your intentions and capacity to transect. The quicker you prove the faster you complete the transection.
Please note: R2Own Home prudently uses CMHC guidelines to qualify for rent to own program.

We have divided the documents required for rent to own into 2 categories. The documents you provide to prove your intentions and financial capabilities and the documents you receive as disclosure to all terms and conditions you agree upon prior to executing on it.
Required Documents Supporting Rent to Own Application
- Two Pieces of Identification - Photo and Non photo
- Job Letter (Within last 1 month)- If Employed
- 2 Recent pay Stubs - If Employed
- T4's for Last 2 years - If Employed
- Notice of Assesement (NOA) or T1General for all Self Employed (BSF)
- Financial Statements - If Self Employed
- Proof of available Deposit (Gift Letter / Bank Statement)
- Collections Proof of Payoff
- Appraisal within last 30 days (Only if Refinancing) – BROKERWORX / NAS
- Lender Discharge/Pay Off Statement (If Presently a Home Owner)
- Insolvency Docs. (Bankruptcy, Consumer Proposal) - Filing and/or Discharge Documents
